Process
It’s important to us that your bespoke stationery is a representative of you as a couple or company. Clear communication leads to an enjoyable and collaborative experience that’s ultimately reflected in quality of your final design. We offer tailored guidance from the first inquiry to when your invitations finally enter the hands of the post office. Through our organized approach we deliver invitations, on time and on budget.
01. Let’s Chat
Explore our portfolio of previous work, then give us a call or send an email about your upcoming event. We’ll follow up with you to get a sense for what you’re interested in and chat about how we might best work together.
02. Consultation
We'll schedule a consultation (online or in person) to discuss your style, explore samples, talk paper, print processes, and more! We’ll supply you with a brief questionnaire to complete beforehand. Don’t worry, if you’re not exactly sure what you want. We are happy to direct you to beautiful and innovative options for your event.
03. Proposal
After determining your inspiration and overall aesthetic, we will provide a detailed estimate and production schedule. Once the proposal is accepted, we will require a 50% deposit to begin the design process.
04. Design
Our creative team will start sketching and designing your custom suite. After providing a highly rendered mockup, you will have the opportunity to critique the design. To ensure that the final product captures your exact vision, we don’t restrict the number of proofs. However, clients typically require no more than 1-2 rounds of edits.
05. Production
Once the design is approved, production begins! Every element goes through a meticulous inspection to ensure it meets our detail standards. In order to guarantee the quality of our work, StoryBird Design works with proven vendors and specialty printers. The final payment is due once production is complete.
06. Delivery
We’re happy to handle all assembly, guest addressing, postage and mailing your precious creations, so that you can relax and enjoy the fabulous feedback from your excited guests. Of course, if you prefer to handle the finishing touches, we’ll send your entire order directly to you.
